Terms and Conditions

1Only the Basic Card Member or Authorized Account Manager(s) on a Business Platinum Card® Account can enroll the Card Account in the benefit. Eligible purchases must be charged to the enrolled Card Account for the benefit to apply. Purchases by both the enrolled Basic Card Member and Employee Card Members on the enrolled Card Account are eligible for statement credits through 12/31/24. However, each Card Account is only eligible for up to $200 in statement credits between January and June and up to $200 in statement credits between July and December for a total of $400 per calendar year in statement credits across all Cards on the enrolled Card Account. Valid only on purchases made directly with Dell Technologies or at dell.com in the US and US territories where Dell Technologies is the merchant of record for the purchase. Not valid on online purchases shipped outside of the US and purchases from unauthorized resellers or online auctioneers. Please allow 6-8 weeks after an eligible purchase is charged to your Card Account for statement credit(s) to be posted to the Account. Purchases may fall outside of the 6-month benefit period in which the purchase was made in some cases due to a delay in merchants submitting transactions to us or if the purchase date differs from the date you made the transaction (for example, the purchase date for online orders may be the shipping date). In this case your purchase would apply toward the statement credit available in the next 6-month benefit period. Statement credit may be reversed if the eligible purchase is returned/cancelled. Statement credits for eligible purchases, or any reversals, may be applied to either the Pay in Full balance or the Pay Over Time balance regardless of where the eligible purchases originally posted. If American Express does not receive information that identifies your transaction as eligible for the benefit, you will not receive the statement credit. For example, your transaction will not be eligible if it is not made directly with the merchant. In addition, in most cases, you may not receive the statement credit if your transaction is made with an electronic wallet or through a third party or if the merchant uses a mobile or wireless card reader to process it. Please call the number on the back of the Card if statement credits have not posted after 8 weeks from the date of purchase. Note that American Express may not receive information about your eligible purchase from merchant until all items from your eligible purchase have been provided/shipped by merchant. To be eligible for this benefit, Card Account(s) must not be canceled and not past due at the time of statement credits fulfillment. PROGRAM TERMS FOR USING MEMBERSHIP REWARDS® POINTS ON DELL.COM


1. Card Member Eligibility

To use Membership Rewards® points for Dell.com purchases, you must have at least 2 point in your Membership Rewards account and be (i) the Basic Card Member with an Eligible Card, (ii) an authorized Additional Card Member with an Eligible Card or (iii) a Corporate Membership Rewards Program Administrator. An "Eligible Card" is a valid, Membership Rewards enrolled (a) American Express Consumer Card, (b) Business Card from American Express OPEN, or (c) American Express Corporate Card issued in the United States by American Express. In addition, the Eligible Card account must also be not cancelled, not past due and have no dishonored payments in the last 6 months at the time of redemption. If you are an Additional Card Member who has not been authorized, you will not be able to use points on  Dell.com.

  2. Using Membership Rewards points for Dell.com Purchases (the ""Program"")

New Dell.com Account

After you create a new account at Dell.com and enter your Eligible Card information, you will automatically be shown the available point balance and its associated dollar value for use on  Dell.com. Enter the dollar amount for which you would like to receive a statement credit and click “Use Points”. You may edit your selection before placing your order.


Existing Dell.com Account

While checking out using your existing Dell.com account with your existing Eligible Card on file, you will automatically be shown the available point balance and its associated dollar value for use on Dell.com. Enter the dollar amount for which you would like to receive a statement credit and click “Use Points”. You may edit your selection before placing your order.


Dell.com Guest Checkout

When using the guest checkout at Dell.com and entering your Eligible Card information, you automatically be shown the available point balance and its associated dollar value for use on Dell.com. Enter the dollar amount for which you would like to receive a statement credit and click “Use Points”. You may edit your selection before placing your order.


Regardless of the process by which you checkout, if you decide that you no longer want to be presented with the option to use points for your purchase, please refer to Section 4 (“Notice Regarding Your Privacy Rights”) for information on how to opt out of the Program.

3. Generally

To view your available point balance, go to membershiprewards.com or if you are a Corporate Membership Rewards Program Administrator, go to corporatemembershiprewards.com. Point redemption rate may vary for future orders. When you choose to use points for your purchase, American Express will debit from the Membership Rewards program account linked to the Eligible Card the number of points corresponding to your selection. You may select up to the total amount of points required to cover the transaction or up to the full value of your point balance, whichever is less, to the nearest $0.01. Following your purchase, a statement credit in an amount equal to the dollar amount of your selection will be issued to the Eligible Card account. Please allow up to 2-4 business days for the corresponding credit to be reflected on your Eligible Card account. If a credit is processed after your Eligible Card account statement's closing date, it will appear on your next statement. Remember, the amount due or minimum payment due on your Eligible Card account must be paid by the due date. If there is a processing error with your choice to use points, your Eligible Card will be charged and the corresponding credit will not be issued to the Eligible Card account for your transaction. In this event, if you would like to use points for your transaction, please call Membership Rewards program Customer Care at 1-800-297-3276 or Corporate Membership Rewards Customer Care at 1-888-800-8564 for assistance.

4. Notice Regarding Your Privacy Rights

New Dell.com Account

After you create a new account at Dell.com and enter your Eligible Card information, American Express will automatically share your available point balance and its associated dollar value for use on Dell.com.

Existing Dell.com Account

If you are checking out with an existing Dell.com account, Amex will automatically share your eligibility and available point balance

Dell.com Guest Checkout

When using the guest checkout at Dell.com and entering your Eligible Card information, American Express will automatically share your available point balance and its associated dollar value for use on Dell.com.

If you decide that you no longer want to be presented with the option to use points for your purchases or have your eligibility and point balance shared with Dell.com, simply call the number on the back of your Card. To reactivate this feature in the future on your Eligible Card(s) on file with your Dell.com account, call Membership Rewards program Customer Care at 1-800-297-3276 for assistance.

Dell.com may use your eligibility to participate in the Program and point balance solely for the purpose of executing the Program. 6. Card Member Agreement Applies; Changes to this Agreement

Access to and use of the Program is subject to and governed by the Card Member’s agreement with American Express, including the Membership Rewards® program Terms and Conditions and these Terms. For any inconsistency between these Terms and the Membership Rewards Program Terms and Conditions, these Terms apply for the Program. We may change or modify these Terms by posting changes or modifications at  amex.co/dell and will update the date indicated after ""Last Modified."" If you do not agree with these current or modified Terms, you must not participate in the Program (See Section 4 (“Notice Regarding Your Privacy Rights”)).
